We at the Dental Specialty Group place a high emphasis on preventive care so that certain procedures may be avoided. Even so, some conditions can only be corrected by extraction.
We encourage every extraction to be immediately followed by implant placement at that site. This assures that our patients never walk around with missing teeth. If the tooth that needs to come out is in the front, we will place a temporary tooth above the implant. Dr. Becker does not believe that any patient should have to leave the office without a front tooth. We will always have some form of temporary tooth for our patients if extractions are needed.
